Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Confirmed By Ubisoft Ahead Of E3
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has been confirmed by Ubisoft as the next entry in the open-world franchise, just hours after an image of the game’s name and logo were leaked and spread online. At 12:30am BST, the official Ubisoft account posted a short video teasing the next instalment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise. They also confirmed its name, and an appearance at E3.

This leak comes hours after French video game site JeuxVideo-Live posted an image of a novelty keychain promoting the hitherto-unannounced title. JeuxVideo-Live’s report claimed Odyssey will be a follow-up to Assassin’s Creed Origins, released last year. The site also claimed the game will be set in ancient Greece. The helmet sort of resembles that of King Leonidas I. While Ubisoft has confirmed that the game exists, it hasn’t released any further details. For the full scoop, fans and other interested parties are urged to watch Ubisoft’s E3 keynote on June 11th at 9pm local time on Twitch and Ubisoft’s official YouTube channel.
