Monster Hunter World Spring Blossom Fest Now Live

Monster Hunter World has launched its Spring Blossom Festival, which includes an opportunity to replay all event quests, collect some new emotes, and enjoy a change of scenery in Astera. Starting from now until the 20th, Monster Hunter World players will be able to celebrate the Spring Blossom Event while earning new gear! Like most in-game events, especially within this particular genre, the social hub seen over at Astera will be completely decked out in commemorative decorations to make everything feel even more festive.

New armors sets will be available to craft, new exclusive materials to gather. Even the Palicoes get a little special attention with a new look seen in the new video below:

Then there’s all the flowers and fireworks adorning the Gathering Hub, and the new food recipes. In short, it’s a good time to return to Monster Hunter World and catch up on any previous quests you missed.

Every day you log in during the Spring Blossom Fest, you’ll receive two Lucky Vouchers.

Players will also get log-in boosts for hopping in-game during the festival’s events, so it’s definitely something that you are going to want to check even if you’re just a casual player!

For those at a 50 Hunter Rank or higher, there is also a new nine-star event available to hunt Deviljho in the Ancient Forest, while the Mega Man quest comes available for those ranked 13 or higher to hunt Odagarons in the arena. It’s an amazing time to suit up, upgrade that gear, and enjoy some amazing game time!

It may not bring any new monsters or quests, but the Spring Blossom Festival seemingly offers players some small incentives to return to the game. The new sword is going to be a big draw for greatsword users, but the return of all event quests is likely the most significant reason to return.

The Spring Blossom Fest runs until April 19 on PS4, and Xbox One. During the event, Capcom will hand out tickets to craft the Mega Man voxel Palico gear, available April 13-27.
