Resident Evil Village Will Conclude The Story Started In RE7
Resident Evil Village details were recently divulged in a Famitsu interview with producers Tsuyoshi Kanda and Pete Fabiano. The interview was translated and shared on Twitter by Resident Evil historian Alex Aniel. There were a few interesting tidbits revealed about the upcoming game, including how Village will conclude Ethan’s story, which started in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard although its producers insist that fans refer to the game as Resident Evil Village, not Resident Evil 8.
During the event, PlayStation “Future of Gaming” has been presented to the world Resident Evil Village, the eighth chapter of the successful series by Capcom. The survival horror will take us to a village in Romania where you will find witches, werewolves, and other bloodthirsty beasts that will try in every way to let us off.
Inventory management is coming back and the game will be played in first-person as well just like Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. The game will conclude Ethan’s story which started in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard however the interview suggests that there may be more than one protagonist this time around. This might be Chris and Village could serve as a conclusion to Chris’s story as well however we do not have any solid information on this at this point. The producers do recommend that if players have not played Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, they must before they play Resident Evil Village since the stories are interconnected and many references go back to the original title that started Ethan’s story.
Resident Evil Village releases in 2021 on Xbox Series X, PS5, and PC.
