Watch Dogs Legion Confirmed By Ubisoft For E3 2019
The official Watch Dogs Twitter account, which has now rebranded and renamed itself as Watch Dogs Legion, posted a brief teaser video that showed off a news logo, along with the words “God Save the NPCs“

God Save the NPCs certainly confirms a lot of the Amazon listing’s details, such as a London setting and a focus on being able to play as any NPC in the game. Aside from that, the tweet only shows a pulsing Watch Dogs logo, so we probably have to wait until Ubisoft’s E3 conference to see more.
London is definitely fitting for the series, especially when you consider the amount of surveillance that takes place in the city. The leak also notes that it will be a post-Brexit world, so that should most definitely be interesting to see unfold throughout the game’s events. “Play as anyone,” according to the leak. “Every individual you meet in the open world, has a full set of animations, voice over, character traits and visuals that are generated & guided by gameplay systems.”
Either there aren’t many NPCs in Watch Dogs Legion, or there has been a ton of work that has gone into the upcoming game from Ubisoft.
No platforms have been announced for Watch Dogs Legion, and Ubisoft also has not shared a release date. Presumably more details will come to light at E3 2019 next week. Monday, June 10th at 12:30 p.m. PT.
